The Institute of Directors' Boardroom Centre is the leading source of non-executive directors and chairpersons in Ireland, offering a dedicated and independent service which assists companies to find the right non-executive director and/or chairperson for their board.

The business of The Boardroom Centre is to:

a) assist with the search and appointment of independent non-executive directors and / or chairpersons to client companies;
b) promote the benefits that independent non-executive directors can bring to companies in the area of corporate governance.
When the Boardroom Centre is approached by a company seeking to appoint a non-executive director or chairperson, a meeting is arranged to discuss their specific requirements. Once a profile of the ideal candidate has been agreed, a short-list of suitable candidates is provided to the company for its consideration. The Boardroom Centre arranges introductions and meetings, prior to the formal appointment. The process is handled on a highly confidential basis. A fee is charged to the client company by the Boardroom Centre for its services.
Corporate Governance Code for Credit Institutions and Insurance Undertakings
The Boardroom Centre has a lot of experience working with regulated financial entities who must comply with the Corporate Governance Code for Credit Institutions and Insurance Undertakings.
