September Docklands Open House Day attracts more than 300 viewers

A unique event for buyers that shows what Dublin Docklands has to offer

More than 300 interested viewers attended open viewings in Dublin Docklands on Saturday, September 16th. First-time buyers, current owners and landlords, buyers moving home from overseas and other interested parties availed of a unique opportunity to view properties for sale throughout North and South Docklands. Docklands Open House Day was arranged by Docklands estate agency Owen Reilly to offer buyers a convenient way to review a range of properties in various apartment developments throughout different neighbourhoods in Docklands. Properties on open view ranged from a two-bedroom apartment at Spencer House in Custom House Square in the IFSC, priced at €340,000, to a show-stopper three-bedroom penthouse, priced at €1.5M at Hanover Quay at Grand Canal Basin.

Estate agent Owen Reilly has lived in Docklands since 2006 and opened his firm in 2008 at Grand Canal Dock. With a unique insight into and enthusiasm for the Docklands neighbourhood, Owen Reilly and his colleagues were motivated to arrange Docklands Open House Day as a result of the great interest in Docklands and the many questions they are asked about all aspects of buying property in the area. Owen Reilly was very pleased with the interest shown by viewers who took the opportunity to view, not only apartments within their price ranges, but also apartment developments generally. He says: “We notice many people just taking the opportunity to find out a bit more about some of the developments generally - in anticipation of other apartments coming up.” He adds: “We observe also current owners who were very interested to view other developments and inform themselves about potential trading up or investment opportunities”.
