The aim of the Association is to establish the role of the business analyst as an essential and important management role within organisations.
To achieve this objective we have clearly defined the role of the business analysts as follows:-
"The role of the Business Analyst is to identify the Core Business Objectives of an organisation and its constituent parts and to ensure that the Processes, Procedures, Systems, and Structures that are in place are the most effective and efficient to enable it to achieve its Core Objectives"
The Association regularly holds events (breakfast briefings, 1/2 day workshops, evening sessions) where practitioners give talks on Business Analysis related subjects. These events are generally free to members and are a great way to Network.
