Euro Car Parks receive six awards

Euro Car Parks – one of Ireland’s leading operators – has been granted six prestigious European Standard Parking Awards (ESPA).

They are the first car parks in Ireland to be awarded these European honours.

The car parks are at the Point Square, the Convention Centre and the Mater Hospital in Dublin along with Charlotte Quay, Limerick; Athlone Towncentre, Westmeath and the Whitewater Shopping Centre, Newbridge, Kildare.

All were judged to have met the highest European standards for such facilities with the Point Square car-park in Dublin receiving a gold award along with Charlotte Quay in Limerick while the others received silver.

The car parks were scrutinised on key issues such as entry/exits, lighting, comfort, security, signage, parking areas and ramps and energy and environment.   The ESPA awards are under the auspices of the European Parking Association.

Speaking about the awards, Mr David Cullen, Managing Director, Euro Car Parks, said:
“We are delighted to be the first in Ireland to receive these industry coveted awards. The awards reflect the highest level of quality delivered at our facilities and reflect our commitment to quality customer service in environmentally sensitive facilities. Coupled with our recent Q Mark and Best Workplace Awards, Euro Car Parks continues to pave the way for continued progress for our customers and staff alike.”

Euro Car Parks caters for 100,000 customers per day throughout Ireland.
